Paul Millsap, who was acquired by the Denver Nuggets in the NBA offseason will undergo wrist surgery and his expected to be out for at least three months. This is crucial for a Nuggets team who looks as though they are starting to get the hang of things. Alongside big man Nikola Jokic, Millsap was averaging 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Look for Kenneth Faried and Mason Plumlee to step up in his absence.
Michael Porter Jr. who was the nation’s number two freshman for college basketball played all but two minutes as he will undergo spinal surgery and will likely miss his entire freshman season. As the number two projected pick in the draft, Porter will not likely come back to the school for his Sophomore season. A big blow for the Tigers and their fans but nothing but positivity towards Porter in his recovery.
