North Carolina went into Wednesday nights contest confident to pick up the non-conference win and improve their record before heading into ACC play. But the Terriers had other plans. Fletcher Magee had 27 points and Cameron Jackson had 18 points, 9 rebounds to lead Wofford to their big win. Wofford had a one-point advantage at halftime ad kept their lead strong. Luke Maye attempted a game-tying three pointer as time dwindled down and it clanked off the rim. Wofford got the rebound and secured the game with great shooting at the free throw line.
