NBA Free Agency Preview

i

As the NBA approaches, we have taken some time to look at free agents in the NBA that could be of value to other teams. In this article we will focus on where we think the player should go during free agency. In other words, the team that would be the best fit for that players style of play. The free agents are in alphabetical order.

Al-Farouq Aminu- F, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Houston Rockets
  • Great defender who can guard many positions. Would be great to team up with PJ Tucker.

Justin Anderson- G/F, 26 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Atlanta Hawks
  • Still young player who can contribute off bench to rising Hawks team.

Carmelo Anthony- F, 35 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers or retire
  • Very interesting decision here, to try to play with his oy LeBron? Or to lace them up?

Ryan Arcidiacono- G, 25 years old

  • Our best fit: Memphis Grizzlies
  • Former Villanova star now heads to free agency with chance to cash a big bench role behind Ja Morant in rebuilding Memphis.

Trevor Ariza- F, 34 years old

  • Our best fit: Utah Jazz
  • Veteran leader to can fill the place just lost with Jae Crowder. Good shooter to help Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.

JJ Barea- G, 35 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Dallas Mavericks
  • Let’s be real, can we really see Barea playing anywhere other than Dallas?

Harrison Barnes- F, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Sacramento Kings
  • This was tough. Barnes can contribute anywhere he wants, but I feel as though the Kings could potentially be his team with help of De’Aaron Fox.

Jerryd Bayless- G, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Houston Rockets
  • Veteran point guard that could be used by several teams but ultimately, Bayless should choose to serve as a role player for a veteran team.

Kent Bazemore- G, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Oklahoma City Thunder
  • Several teams will draw interest to this 3-and-D player. Bazemore can be huge help to Paul George and Russell Westbrook. They were missing that shooting guard spot last season.

Jordan Bell- F, 24 years old

  • Our best fit: Boston Celtics
  • A very young free agent who has had troubles with Golden State management the last two years. I could see him heading to a young Celtics team but could asl osee him making amends with Warriors and heading back for a bigger role.

Dragan Bender- F, 22 years old

  • Our best fit: Chicago Bulls
  • A former lottery pick that really needs a change of scenario. What better way than to send him to a team with mostly all guys his age.

Patrick Beverley- G, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Los Angeles Clippers
  • I believe he stays in Los Angeles, it is just a matter of what locker room he goes to. I think it all depends on if Lakers can lure Kemba Walker in, and I don’t think Beverley has the patience to be a second choice.

Bismack Biyombo- C, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Washington Wizards
  • Nobody knows what Washington is doing with their team, but if they could bring in Biyombo for less money than what he thinks he is worth, could be big pick up to their team.

Bojan Bogdanovic- G, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Boston Celtics
  • Great shooter who can provide spark for Boston. Also, a great teammate which Boston has been looking for. Should be very good fit for Bogdanovic if he chooses to go here.

Corey Brewer- G/F, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Denver Nuggets
  • Brewer realizes who he is as a player and he knows he can help a team with his shooting off the bench. Look for Denver to reach out with a veteran minimum just like they did with Isaiah Thomas a year ago.

Malcolm Brogdon- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Phoenix Suns
  • The Suns are looking for a point guard. Bringing in Brogdon gives them a proven leader who can allow Devin Booker to get more looks off the ball. The whole problem being whether or not he leaves Milwaukee.

Reggie Bullock- G/F, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Philadelphia 76ers
  • With potential of losing Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler, Philly better start filling the holes ASAP. Bullock gives them someone who can get plugged into rotation right away.

Trey Burke- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: San Antonio Spurs
  • The former Michigan star has been looking for a home for years. Spurs bringing in Burke can give him a home he has been looking for. Hopefully, they will be a good fit and he can stop bouncing around and be able to show off the skill he has.

Alec Burks- G, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Golden State Warriors
  • Warriors need to fill a hole for Klay Thompson do to his injury. Bringing in Burks is not where near Thompson, but is a great place to start.

Jimmy Butler- G/F, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Philadelphia 76ers
  • I believe the Lakers make a strong pitch but Butler wants to head back to what he left with. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons are huge factors in this decision, and I believe Butler winds up back where he was.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope- G, 26 years old

  • Our best fit: Detroit Pistons
  • Caldwell-Pope had two years to get out of Detroit and find his style of play. Some think this would be dumb, I believe going back would be huge to his career. Still at a young age of 26, Caldwell-Pope could use Blake Griffin to his advantage and really strive coming back.

DeMarre Carroll- F, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Portland Trail Blazers
  • Portland can use all the depth in the world at the small forward position. After bringing in UNC draftee Nassir Little, Potland could use some leadership until Little is ready to go.

Vince Carter- G/F, 42 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Atlanta Hawks
  • Vinsanity returns! One last ride. Even though some say he should ring chase, I believe he wants to be a leader to these young guns and return back to Atlanta.

Willie Cauley-Stein- C, 26 years old

  • Our best fit: Minnesota Timberwolves
  • A very interesting free agent. He has really showed out the last few years in Sacramento. I personally would love to see him reunite a Kentucky Wildcat frontcourt and join Karl-Anthony Towns in Minnesota. This will allow Towns to be able to stretch out more as well.

Wilson Chandler- F, 32 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers
  • Much alike Corey Brewer, we feel as though Chandler could be used as a veteran guy off the bench on a good team.

Marquese Chriss- F, 22 years old

  • Our best fit: Sacramento Kings
  • In case Cauley-Stein does leave, Chriss is a good option for the the Kings to have depth off the bench.

Ian Clark- G, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Indiana Pacers
  • Pacers just lost Tyreke Evans, look for Clark to draw interest from Pacers to backup up Victor Oladipo.

Darren Collison- G, 32 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers
  • Collison gives the Lakers an established point guard to feed LeBron and Anthony Davis the ball. Collison is not their top option, but definitely is someone the Lakers will look into.

Quinn Cook- G, 26 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Golden State Warriors
  • Cook isn’t going anywhere. He finally found his spot with this team and the Warriors like him a lot. Look for him to continue to earn his minutes off the bench and provide a break for Steph Curry.

DeMarcus Cousins- C, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Dallas Mavericks
  • We realize how far stretched this one is. But we feel as though it is his personal best fit for where he is in his career. With Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis set to be the core, Cousins coming in can get them their hard-nosed rebounder they want. Cousins is very injury prone, so don’t be surprised if he signs for cheap back with the Warriors. But in our minds, Cousins joining Porzingis and Doncic is something he should really look into.

Jamal Crawford- G, 39 years old

  • Our best fit: Golden State Warriors or retire
  • I feel like Crawford should go for title or walk out. He has shared his passion for just wanting to play in the past, but this could be Crawford’s chance to go get one and possibly get some significant minutes for that team.

Seth Curry- G, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Portland trail Blazers
  • I believe Curry and Portland have common interest. Bringing back Curry is a good start to keeping the bench fresh and together.

Ed Davis- C, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Milwaukee Bucks
  • Davis going to Milwaukee can be huge for them. Davis was big for the surprising Nets this year and could earn a nice little paycheck going to back up Brook Lopez.

Dewayne Dedmon- C, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: New Orleans Pelicans
  • The Pelicans brought in some huge additions so far. After drafting Jaxson Hayes, he will need some help developing. Bringing Dedmon in is a good place to start if they can agree on a bargain contract.

Luol Deng- F, 34 years old

  • Our best fit: retire
  • Deng has been chewing up the leagues salary for years now. With that, he has earned $151 million. This does not include the $125 million he has built through real estate either. I believe it is time for Deng to walk and enjoy his real estate career.

Goran Dragic- G, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Orlando Magic
  • Dragic is a good fit with the Heat but I think he realizes his career is getting older and he could use one more hefty contract. The Magic will not be spending big money on others this year, so why wouldn’t Dragic head down to Orlando where their point guard is DJ Augustin.

Kevin Durant- F, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Golden State Warriors
  • Now hear me out, this will make a lot of NBA fans mad. But if I am the Warriors, I am doing everything I can to bring him back for one more year. Yes, he is injured and won’t play. But this gives them the option of trading him after the 2020 playoffs next year. He will be back and hopefully can give them some minutes if they make a playoff run. This case, Warriors gain any bit they have with him while also flipping him for many assets when they have the chance. Other options include Durant leaving for Brooklyn and Los Angeles Clippers.

Kenneth Faried- F/C, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Charlotte Hornets
  • It is time for Faried to not be known as a backup anymore. I believe Faried should go out and show what he’s got this next season in Charlotte. He should start over Marvin Williams. The catch would be reaching a one-year deal in case things do not work out. But I think it is definitely worth a shot on both sides.

Raymond Felton- G, 35 years old

  • Our best fit: New York Knicks
  • With Felton’s career dwindling down, why not go back to where his career grew. Heading back to New York on veteran’s minimum will allow him to work and grow Dennis Smith Jr.’s maturity as well.

Marc Gasol- C, 34 years old

  • Our best fit: Portland Trail Blazers
  • This is a huge decision for Gasol who just won his first NBA championship. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have been looking for a big man to work with since LaMarcus Aldridge left. Gasol could be that stretch-5 that they have been looking for. I do think Toronto will do what they can to bring him back but the Trail Blazers to me is his best fit.

Pau Gasol- F/C, 39 years old

  • Our best fit: Retire
  • Five years older than his brother and battling injuries I believe it is time for Pau Gasol to hang them up. He has had an amazing career and I would hate to see him battle injuries in order to try to keep playing.

Rudy Gay- F, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Atlanta Hawks
  • The Hawks have a huge young core, so why not take Gay and plug him right into that starting small forward spot to go with Trae Young, Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter and John Collins. This way, they have a starter to learn from and lead that group. I think it is a good fit for both sides.

Taj Gibson- F, 34 years old

  • Our best fit: Boston Celtics
  • The Celtics need big men. Bringing in Gibson would be huge for their bench as they prepare to lose Al Horford and potentially Marcus Morris. Gibson is a reliable player to bring off the bench.

Danny Green- G/F, 32 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Toronto Raptors
  • Green loved it in Toronto. He got the role he wanted and won a championship. What more can he ask for? Expect Toronto and him to reach a deal rather quickly.

Gerald Green- G/F, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Chicago Bulls
  • Green would be a great veteran to work with the Bulls young guards and help them grow while still being able to perform each night.

JaMychal Green- F, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: San Antonio Spurs
  • A guy that has always seemed like a player to play for Pop finally gets his chance. Green will bring good defense and size to this confusing Spurs roster.

Jeff Green- F, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Denver Nuggets
  • After giving up a year of his career in Washington, Green is back in the game for a contending team in Denver. This will add depth to the small forward position in which Denver lacks tremendously.

Devin Harris- G, 36 years old

  • Our best fit: Cleveland Cavaliers
  • Harris gives Collin Sexton and Darius Garland a good veteran to learn from well at the same time playing over him in the rotation. A good guy to have in your ear if you are learning.

Tobias Harris- F, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Indiana Pacers
  • I feel like Oladipo needs a sidekick to get over the hump if they ever do. A young Tobias Harris in his prime is the perfect fit to work with him. This could be a young duo that tears up the Eastern Conference for years to come if this goes through.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson- F, 24 years old

  • Our best fit: Miami Heat
  • Hollis-Jefferson will be going into his 5th pro year at the age of 24. Miami does not have a stud on their team and I think that he fits perfect with a group of guys who just grind each game. We will truly be able to see what kind of player he is if this is where he ends up.

Rodney Hood- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Minnesota Timberwolves
  • The Timberwolves could use a good two-way player in their backcourt. Adding Hood will bring in scoring to their rotation. Also, if it does not work out, Hood has been a good option at the deadline the last couple of years, so maybe Minnesota can take Hood and turn him into assets if needed.

Al Horford- C, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Clippers
  • A very sad day if you are a Celtics fan. The loyal Al Horford packs his bags and goes to play for Doc Rivers. Can you blame the Celtics? Not giving Al the money he wants? Al will look for a 4 year deal with a team who could use his veteran presence, the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kyrie Irving- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Brooklyn Nets
  • Lets keep hurting the Celtics fans as yet another free agent is looking to head out this summer. Irving has many options but with the amount of money Brooklyn will give up, Irving looks to slide right in. Despite likely not holding onto D’Angelo Russell, he will inherit a young core that surprised a lot of people last year.

Stanley Johnson- F, 23 years old

  • Our best fit: New York Knicks
  • A young guy who didn’t seem to get drafted to the right system in Detroit could find his correct fit in New York. With a chance to grow as a player with other young players, Johnson could revive his career.

Tyus Jones- G, 23 years old

  • Our best fit: Oklahoma City Thunder
  • look for Jones to take his experience in Minnesota and help himself become Russell Westbrook’s key backup. Dennis Schroder did not quite work out so we will see how Jones does if he goes here.

DeAndre Jordan- C, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers
  • Jordan is an unrestricted free agent but we feel the team that could land him is LA Lakers. Jordan will allow Anthony Davis to play the power forward and stretch his game out more. Huge pick up for LA that could really solidify their squad, now they just need a bench.

Cory Joseph- G, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Philadelphia 76ers
  • As a career backup point guard it seems, Joseph looks to get a lot of minutes in Philly. He can be their bench leader and maybe even start some games if they ever play him along with Ben Simmons.

Frank Kaminsky- F/C, 26 years old

  • Our best fit: Orlando Magic
  • The former Wisconsin Badger legend has a chance to get into a new environment to see if it helps his career. The Magic give him a chance to have a solid role behind Aaron Gordon and hopefully build his career through this chance.

Enes Kanter- C, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Portland Trail Blazers
  • Probably the biggest need for Portland is to bring back Kanter. He helped them out in the front court to lead them to the Western Conference Finals. Look for them to reach a 4-year deal this summer.

Kosta Koufos- C, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Detroit Pistons
  • Giving Detroit a veteran backup behind Griffin and Drummond is crucial. Jon Leuer has not been the best option so maybe Koufos can add a little more to help them out.

Jeremy Lamb- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Milwaukee Bucks
  • Lamb could really use a trip out of Charlotte to get out of all of the young guards trying to take his place. Lamb could be perfect in Milwaukee to take the place of Malcolm Brogdon is Brogdon leaves.

Kawhi Leonard- F, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Toronto Raptors
  • After all of the drama, Leonard ignored it all and brought a trophy to Toronto. He deserves all of the credit in the world. Expect Leonard to take an additional year in Toronto and weigh out his options next summer.

Jeremy Lin- G, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Utah Jazz
  • Lin just won his first ever NBA championship. Now I feel the best place for him is to join the backcourt in Utah with Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley. Backing them up could ensure him some playing time this coming season.

Kevon Looney- F/C, 23 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Golden State Warriors
  • Expect Looney to stay and be in the starting lineup the whole year. Entering his 5th year at just the age of 23, Looney is key to this team and definitely a steal in the draft for them.

Brook Lopez- C, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Milwaukee Bucks
  • Lopez loves Milwaukee. He did not have any pressure and could just stretch out and shoot the 3. Expect him re-sign and keep his role for the next few years.

Boban Marjanovic- C, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Brooklyn Nets
  • Marjanovic is a laughing stock to some, but he is very effective when he is in there. He will be a big pickup for Brooklyn. Expect him to give whoever he signs with significant minutes.

Wes Matthews- G/F, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Indiana Pacers
  • With Evans suspended, expect Matthews to re-sign and most likely be a starter for this Indiana team.

TJ McConnell- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Miami Heat
  • After backing up Ben Simmons in Philly last couple years, look for McConnell to head to Miami and compete for the starting spot to put a huge impact on his career.

JaVale McGee- C, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Los Angeles Lakers
  • The Shaqtin-A-Fool champion McGee should re-sign with LA and continue to develop his role off the bench for LeBron and the Lakers. He is a key role player for the Lakers bench that they are filling in.

Rodney McGruder- G/F, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Houston Rockets
  • McGruder has been under the radar but a very nice piece for Miami. Houston could benefit from signing him if it happens.

Khris Middleton- F, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Milwaukee Bucks
  • Expect the Bucks and Middleton to reach a long-term extension. Middleton will take up a bulk of their free agency money but should be well worth it for the Bucks.

CJ Miles- G/F, 32 years old

  • Our best fit: Washington Wizards
  • The Wizards could use Miles to help grow newly drafted Rui Hachimura. Miles could also help Bradley Beal for the short term and potentially be a player to deal at the deadline.

Paul Millsap- F, 34 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Denver Nuggets
  • Hopefully Millsap and Nuggets can agree on a new deal for less money. Millsap has been huge for the Nuggets growth and should continue to help for a few more years.

Nikola Mirotic- F, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Sacramento Kings
  • With potential of losing Harrison Barnes, Mirotic is a great fit for the Kings who are going to be fighting for a playoff spot next year.

Marcus Morris- F, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Boston Celtics
  • Morris really found his role as a leader last year with a struggling Celtics team. Coming back could really mean him being part of the leading core next year. Morris could really use that for his career.

Markieff Morris- F, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers
  • I think the Lakers push hard for Marcus and end up with his brother to fill out their bench. Markieff won’t be as expensive as Marcus and can produce off the bench for this championship caliber team.

Emmanuel Mudiay- G, 23 years old

  • Our best fit: Brooklyn Nets
  • Mudiay has not been as advertised yet. Going to Brooklyn to backup potentially Kyrie Irving can really help him out.

Nene- F/C, 37 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Houston Rockets or retire
  • Nene has been a great player for his role throughout his career. Expect him to either come back to his role in Houston or hang up the shoes on a great career.

Nerlens Noel- F/C, 25 years old

  • Our best fit: Phoenix Suns
  • Noel can help out reviving his career by going to play with DeAndre Ayton and potentially be a starter for this rebuilding Suns team.

Kyle O’Quinn- C, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Toronto Raptors
  • With potential of losing Marc Gasol, O’Quinn can help that out a little bit by bringing his production to Toronto.

Kelly Oubre Jr- F, 24 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Phoenix Suns
  • Oubre Jr was the headline of a trade last year from Washington to Phoenix. Expect him to stay where he is as he understands he is key for that roster.

Jabari Parker- F, 24 years old

  • Our best fit: Utah Jazz
  • The Jazz can continue to boost their roster by bringing in a very productive Parker. If he can stay healthy and get minutes he deserves he is a great pairing at power forward with Derrick Favors in Utah.

Elfrid Payton- G, 25 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Clippers
  • Payton is a guy who has a lot of interest from teams. If he does go to Clippers, he will back up Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and be huge for his growth.

Dwight Powell- F/C, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Dallas Mavericks
  • Powell is a Dallas guy. Dallas really likes him and his production for them. Expect him to sign a 4-year deal for not too much as he continues to contribute to this revamped Dallas team.

Julius Randle- F, 25 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign New Orleans Pelicans
  • Randle would not be smart to head out of New Orleans. He is basically guarenteed a spot in the front court with Zion Williamson and he could be offered the money he wants. After declining his option, look for both sides to work towards a new deal.

JJ Redick- G, 35 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers
  • Redick joining LeBron, AD, Kuzma and others could be scary. Not only can the others work in isolation but not you have to worry about one of the best shooters in the game. Huge pickup for Lakers on veteran minimum.

Austin Rivers- G, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Houston Rockets
  • Rivers liked his role this past year and will continue with it the next season to come. He will also draw interest from other teams but expect him to stick around.

Rajon Rondo- G, 33 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Los Angeles Lakers
  • The Lakers really have no option but to bring back Rondo. If nothing works out, they need someone to run the point. Rondo will be back as he already stated he wants to be back.

Derrick Rose- G, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Chicago Bulls
  • Get excited D-Rose fans, the Bulls just drafted Coby White who is basically a bigger version of Rose. Rose going back to the team that loved him and built him would be huge not only for him, but for White’s growth to be a great point guard in the league.

Terrence Ross- G/F, 28 years old

  • Our best fit: Memphis Grizzlies
  • The Grizzlies need someone to help them get through this year of most likely another tank. Ross is a good option to sign to a one or two year deal. Ross can be in the starting lineup and be a good mentor before he is on his way.

Terry Rozier- G, 25 years old

  • Our best fit: Phoenix Suns or Boston Celtics
  • This is our biggest question mark. We feel like Phoenix is his top choice but he just stated he is ready to grind and get back to work not that Irving is likely out. I would lean towards Boston but expect either of these two come free agency.

Ricky Rubio- G, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Indiana Pacers
  • Likely losing Darren Collison, Rubio could be a part of the top 3 in Indiana with Oladipo and potentially Tobias Harris. This is Rubio’s best fit as Indiana will contend in the East next year.

D’Angelo Russell- G, 23 years old

  • Our best fit: Phoenix Suns
  • Russell, Booker, Ayton. Those guys are the trio to look for if it works out. Next year might be an upside for Phoenix fans. Russell is a great player that skyrocketed last year. This will be huge for the Suns if it works out.

Iman Shumpert- G, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Los Angeles Lakers
  • The ideal bench player to join LeBron’s team. He has played in Cleveland with him and knows what it is like. Could be a big leader off bench for the Lakers if it goes through.

Ish Smith- G, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Detroit Pistons
  • Smith realizes the Pistons need help at point guard. Him staying will make it easier for them to adjust and look elsewhere and take some ease off of their backs.

Lance Stephenson- G, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Los Angeles Lakers
  • Yes, a lot of free agents to Lakers. But, they have a lot of roster spots to fill especially on the bench. Stephenson will bring good minutes off the bench for LA for another year.

Isaiah Thomas- G, 30 years old

  • Our best fit: Minnesota Timberwolves
  • With Tyus Jones and Derrick Rose free agents, Thomas could come in and fight for the starting spot and head back to being IT in Minnesota.

Klay Thompson- G, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Golden State Warriors
  • Especially after his injury, expect Thompson to re-sign and be back late next season and continue to be a splash brother.

Jonas Valanciunas- C, 27 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Memphis Grizzlies
  • Valanciunas was amazing in Memphis. Going back will be great for his career. Especially playing next to Jaren Jackson Jr., this Grizzlies team is rising slowly but surely and Jonas wants to be a part of that.

Nikola Vucevic- C, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Boston Celtics
  • How do you get over Al Horford? Sign someone just like him but younger. Vucevic is one of the most underrated players in the NBA and could be huge to the Celtics in their next steps.

Kemba Walker- G, 29 years old

  • Our best fit: Re-sign Charlotte Hornets
  • One of the most anticipated free agents, Walker’s status is up in the air. He has mentioned taking a pay cut to stay but also has the option to join the Lakers. We will see if it is about loyalty and hardwork or money and winning for Walker. Ultimitely, we see him signing with Charlotte again and continue to be a leader for this franchise. But if I am the Lakers, I am doing everything to go get him.

Thaddeus Young- F, 31 years old

  • Our best fit: Oklahoma City Thunder
  • Young will be a huge get for Oklahoma City to join Westbrook and George. Young will be a better version of Pat Patterson and provide a huge spark for them in the starting lineup.
