Bahamas Defeat Belize in T20 World Cup Qualifiers.

The Bahamas senior men’s national team won their second game at the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 Americas World Cup Qualifiers against Belize by 11 runs.

The match was played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The Bahamas scored 150 runs for the fall of eight wickets in the first innings, with Marc Taylor scoring 67 runs from 50 balls to win the Man-of-the-Match award. Belize finished their innings with 139 runs for six wickets, led by Maurice Castillo with 59 runs and Kenton Young with 44 runs. The Bahamas’ skipper, Gregory Taylor Jr., conceded eight runs in the final over, securing their victory.

The Bahamas will play the United States of America and Panama tomorrow at the Coolidge Cricket Ground.
