The Unstoppable Big Red Machine

The Big Red Machine dominated the 2023 Fidelity BAISS track and field championships, leading the inter-school competition for all three days and taking first place in team rankings with a score of 1,324.50. The Queen’s College Comets took second place with 1,152.50, while Temple Christian School came in third with 451.50. SAC athletes won multiple relays and several CARIFTA qualifiers, including Darvinique Dean and Yulianis Akompi in the under 17 girls 400m hurdles. The Comets earned points outside of relay action, with Rocelis Moxey breaking the BAISS shot put record for under 13 girls and taking first place finishes in multiple events.
