Bahamas Swimmers Compete for Fifth CARIFTA Title.

Bahamian junior swimmers Nigel Forbes and Rhanishka Gibbs will compete in the 2023 CARIFTA Swimming Championships along with other talented swimmers in different age groups.
The Bahamian team will look forward to securing their fifth consecutive win in this competition. They won seven out of the last eight meets.
The team selection process was straightforward, and the coaching staff are comfortable with it because they knows the team’s ability.
The coaches will work towards a training schedule for the team so they can continue to develop and perform at their best.

The competition will take place in Willemstad, Curacao, from April 6-9, 2023, at the Sentro Deportivo Korsou – Pisina “Enith Brigitha”. The Bahamian team comprises 36 members, including the open water team. The coaching staff includes Cameron Bruney, Travano McPhee, and Mancer Roberts Jr., with Celestial Darville as team manager, Karon Pinder-Johnson as the female chaperone, and Traven Cargill as the male chaperone.
