The Tour Daddy Defenders won the New Providence Volleyball Association men’s division championship in a best-of-five series against the Warhawks.

Despite the Warhawks being defending champions, the Defenders executed a backdoor sweep to win the series 3-2. In the final match, the Defenders won in straight sets, with Team Captain Je’Vaughn Saunders leading the team to victory after going down 0-2 in the series.

COVID had put the team in a slump, but they were glad to be playing again and be crowned champions. Jamaal Ferguson led the way with 15 points for the Defenders, while Dellan Brown scored a game-high 16 points for the Warhawks. The NPVA season ended with the Defenders as champions and the Panthers winning the ladies division for a fourth consecutive year.
