Meanwhile, Katerina Coello, under trainer Erika Adderley, piloted Hazelbrook Farm’s Manhattan to Reserve Champion in the 0.80m Child/Adult Jumpers Division at the World Equestrian Center Winter Spectacular VIII. Other Bahamian riders who placed in the ribbons included Sienna Jones, Isabella Coello, Amber Lleida, Henricia Beauchesne, Elle O’Brien, and Charlotte Rose.

Kacy Lyn Smith, a Virginia-based Bahamian junior rider, tied for Champion in the 1.30/1.35m Medium Junior Jumpers Division. The athletes traveling abroad focused on competing in classes in the jumping discipline, marking the first time in Bahamian equestrian sport history.
