C.H. Reeves Raptors Dominate GSSSA

The C.H. Reeves Raptors dominated the 2023 Government Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) junior championships, winning the title for the second consecutive year. The Raptors finished with a score of 533, beating out the S.C. McPherson Sharks, who finished second with a score of 347.

Raptors coach Varel Davis was thrilled with her team’s performance, particularly after the challenges of the pandemic. As a coach, there is no greater feeling than watching your athletes achieve their goals and reach their full potential. When my team won in the G.S.S.S.A.  I couldn’t have been prouder of their performance. They had worked tirelessly for months, putting in countless hours of research, experimentation, and analysis to prepare for this moment
