Bahamian Boy Excels as College Volleyball Libero

As a libero, Clint plays a crucial role in his team’s defense, always ready to dive and dig to save the ball from hitting the ground.

Clint Forbes, a young Bahamian boy, is making waves in the world of college volleyball as a libero for Benedict College. Born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, Clint always had a passion for sports, particularly volleyball. He played for his high school team and quickly gained recognition for his skill and talent.

After graduating high school, Clint decided to pursue his passion for volleyball and continue his education at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. As a libero, Clint plays a crucial role in his team’s defense, always ready to dive and dig to save the ball from hitting the ground.

Forbes was a defensive leader for the Tigers and The Conference last season, finishing second in digs per (2.51). The Bahamas Native tallied 209 digs last season.

Clint’s dedication to his sport and academics has not gone unnoticed. He has been named to the Dean’s List for 4 terms thus far and he was also recently named to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) All-Academic Team.

Clint’s success on and off the court is a testament to his hard work and determination. As he continues to pursue his dreams, he serves as an inspiration to other young athletes in the Bahamas and beyond.
