On Friday, Trinidad and Tobago defeated The Bahamas 3-0 in a men’s soccer game, with three goals in the first 34 minutes securing the victory. The loss leaves The Bahamas with a 1-4 record and three points in League B Group C of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Nations League. Meanwhile Trinidad and Tobago maintains a 4-1 record and 12 points, holding onto second place.

The Bahamas changed tactics for this game, fielding two forwards and adopting a more attacking strategy, but Trinidad and Tobago’s early goal put them on the back foot. The second half was more composed from The Bahamas, but they were unable to score. Both teams will play their final games of the tournament, with The Bahamas facing St. Vincent and the Grenadines and needing a win or draw to remain in League B, while Trinidad and Tobago will play Group C leaders Nicaragua to determine the winner of the group.
