Bahamas Wins Fifth Consecutive CARIFTA Swim Championships

The Bahamas team won the CARIFTA Swim Championships for the fifth time in a row. The competition was held in Curacao and lasted for four days. The Bahamas team won 85 medals, including 37 gold, 27 silver and 21 bronze.
This was 32 more medals than the Cayman Islands, who came in second place, and 31 more than Trinidad & Tobago, who came in third place.
Coach Travano McPhee said the team did very well and exceeded his expectations. The swimmers had been training together for four weeks and had good chemistry. They worked hard and won, making him proud.

The team still had one more event to participate in, the open water swim, with Layla Saidi, Ayden Bain, and Caellum Darville competing. After that, they would fly back home on a chartered flight and start celebrating their win.
