Eva Hilton dominates Interschool Golf Championships

The Interschool Golf Championships for public primary schools were held at the Bahamas Golf Federation’s Nine-Hole Golf Facility. Eva Hilton Primary School won all four divisions of the competition.

In the upper primary boys division, Eva Hilton beat Palmdale Primary School with a score of 135 to 179. Antonio Hernandez, Yelisey Smith, and Kymani Rolle made up the winning team. Hernandez scored 34 strokes to win the individual round.

Eva Hilton also won the upper primary girls division with a score of 156, followed by Garvin Tynes Primary and C.W. Sawyer Primary. Aiyanna Hernandez of Eva Hilton won the individual top award with 43 strokes.

In the lower primary boys division, Eva Hilton was the only team that competed and scored a total of 172. Liam Stubbs of Sandilands Primary School won the division’s individual award with a score of 47 strokes.

In the lower primary girls division, Eva Hilton was again the only team that entered, and the team of Jamiah Miller, Kazmyn Rolle, and Denira Moxey scored 199. Zohalle Smith from St. Andrew’s School won the individual award with 56 strokes.

Today is the final day of the competition.
