Bahamas Beach Soccer Teams Achieve New Milestones and Prepare for Upcoming Concacaf Championship

Nassau, Bahamas – The Bahamas’ National Men’s and Women’s Beach Soccer Teams have recently achieved impressive results in international competitions, as they continue to showcase their talent and determination on the global stage.

The Bahamas Men’s and Women’s National Beach Soccer Teams have recently participated in the ANOC World Beach Games Qualifiers held in El Salvador, showcasing their skills and determination on the international stage. In their respective competitions, the men’s team finished in a commendable 6th place, while the women’s team secured the 4th position, despite not earning any points. These results reflect the hard work and dedication of the athletes, as they continue to make their mark in the world of beach soccer and strive for even greater accomplishments in future competitions.

Following the ANOC Qualifiers, the Women’s National Beach Soccer Team participated in the prestigious Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup. They received an unexpected invitation after another team was unable to attend and made the most of this opportunity, concluding their play with an impressive showing.

In the latest Beach Soccer Worldwide rankings, the Bahamas Men’s National Beach Soccer Team holds an impressive 30th position, while the Women’s National Beach Soccer Team has achieved a remarkable 13th place. These rankings demonstrate the outstanding dedication and skill of both teams as they compete on the global stage.

As the teams celebrate their recent accomplishments, the men’s team is  preparing for the highly anticipated Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship, set to take place from May 8th to 14th at the Beach Soccer Stadium at the foot of the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge. This free event will see the region’s top beach soccer talent from eleven countries compete against each other, as the Bahamas’ men’s national team aims to continue their success in international competitions.
