C.R. Walker Knights Claim Senior Girls Volleyball Title

The C.R. Walker Knights proved their dominance in the senior girls division by winning the championship series against the third-seeded C.V. Bethel Stingrays. The Knights won the first game on Friday with a score of 25-20 and 26-24, and the second game on Monday with a score of 25-19 and 25-18.

Head coach Aikia Rose expressed her excitement and satisfaction with the team’s performance. She credited the team’s hard work and focus throughout the season for their success in the championship series. This win marked Rose’s first volleyball title with the school after coaching the Knights for five years.

Vanessa Scott, the Knights’ power hitter, was named the Most Valuable Player of the championship series. The team’s outstanding performance throughout the series led to their well-deserved victory.
