Adam Musgrove: Champion Sprinter Pursuing Dreams at Howard

Adam Musgrove, a double champion at the national track and field championships, has decided to take his athletic and academic talents to Howard University, a historically black university in Washington DC. Musgrove, a CARIFTA bronze medallist, chose the institution due to its genuine interest in him as an individual, not just an athlete.

He believes that being in an academically sound environment surrounded by people who look like him will help him excel both athletically and academically. Musgrove’s goals include obtaining a law degree and potentially an MBA in the future while striving to become a professional sprinter. Coach Daron Lightbourne praised Musgrove’s improvements and expects him and teammate Otto Laing to succeed at Howard University.

Musgrove is excited about the transition and hopes to become a national champion and inspire others in their track journey. His immediate focus is on the Pan American Junior Championships and NACAC Championships.
