The Bahamas Women’s Soccer Road to Gold Cup Moves Forward

In the recent clash between The Bahamas Women’s National Team and Grenada on September 24th as part of their journey on the Road to the Gold Cup, soccer fans witnessed an exciting match filled with ups and downs.

Early in the game, during the 10th minute of the first half, Grenada managed to break the deadlock and score their first goal, putting pressure on The Bahamas team. However, the Bahamian squad s

howed their determination, and in the 41st minute, Janeka Edey delivered a stunning goal to level the score at 1-1 as the first half concluded.

As the second half began, Grenada wasted no time and struck again in the 46th minute, taking the lead 2-1. Unfortunately for The Bahamas, Grenada continued their offensive prowess, scoring two more goals and solidifying their victory with a final score of 4-1.

Despite the loss, there were notable improvements for The Bahamas team compared to their previous encounter with Grenada, where the score had been a challenging 6-1. These improvements show the dedication and progress of The Bahamas Women’s National Team, making their fans hopeful for the upcoming games, particularly against the US Virgin Islands.
