Shaunece Miller Shines Bright at CIAA Indoor Track Meet

Bahamian athlete Shaunece Miller shone brightly at the CIAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships, clinching gold in the indoor pentathlon.

With a stellar performance, the 19-year-old sophomore from St. Augustine’s University impressed with a personal best score of 3,203 points, securing her victory by a 60-point margin.

Miller’s triumph included a standout win in the long jump event, where she soared to 5.07m (16’ 7-3/4”). Additionally, her prowess in the high jump, where she finished second, underscored her exceptional talent. Notably, Miller’s dedication and skill in various events showcased her versatility and determination.

As a proud Bahamian, we celebrate Shaunece Miller’s remarkable achievement and commend her for representing our country with distinction.
