Bahamian ballplayer Lucius Fox Jr. has taken his talents to the Chicago White Sox, marking his sixth MLB franchise in nine minor league seasons. Recently joining the Charlotte Knights, the White Sox’s Triple-A affiliate, Fox brings a wealth of experience.
Last year, he suited up for the Washington Nationals’ minor league squad, hitting .229 with three homers and 10 RBIs over 44 games. Despite a few stints on the injured list, Fox showcased his skills before parting ways with the Harrisburg Senators.
Throughout his minor league journey, Fox boasts a .243 career batting average with 23 homers and 190 RBIs. His speed is evident, leading the Southern League with 37 stolen bases in 2019. Notable accolades include being a Southern League postseason all-star and winning the Best Hustler Award in 2019.
Fox made his MLB debut in 2021 with the Kansas City Royals, where he had brief stints before moving to the Nationals. In a total of 10 games at the highest level, he managed two hits in 25 at-bats, showcasing his defensive prowess with eight putouts and 15 assists.
Now at 26, Fox continues to pursue his big league dreams, determined to make his mark in baseball’s highest echelons.
