Wisconsin Badgers guard AJ Storr, fresh from a recent NCAA D1 basketball tournament exit, is now eyeing the 2024 NBA Draft. Despite this, he plans to maintain his college eligibility, delivering the news via his X social media platform.

Expressing gratitude to the University of Wisconsin and Coach Gard, Storr acknowledged the invaluable support and opportunities he received. With aspirations to play at the highest level, he thanked his family and drew inspiration from Kobe Bryant.

A key player for the Badgers, Storr averaged 16.8 points per game and 3.9 rebounds, significantly improving from his previous stats at St John’s University. Notably, he had a streak of 31 games with double-digit scoring, ranking second in the program’s history.

During the Big Ten Tournament, Storr excelled with an average of 22.5 points per game. However, the Badgers faced disappointment in the NCAA tournament, losing to James Madison Dukes in the first round.

Despite the early exit, Storr’s season earned him honors such as Second Team All-Big Ten and selections to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team and NABC All-District Second Team.

Looking ahead, the NBA Draft Combine awaits on May 19, with a return-to-school deadline of June 16. Storr’s decision reflects his ambition and commitment to both his collegiate and professional aspirations.
