The University of The Bahamas men’s soccer team displayed an unstoppable performance against BahaJrs in a recent Bahamas Football Association match at the Roscoe A.L. Davies Field. The Mingoes set the pace early and maintained their momentum throughout, securing a commanding 10-0 victory.
Leading the charge was the impressive forward Stanley Grand Pierre, whose remarkable four-goal display, including three in the first half – 5th, 8th, and 14th minutes – highlighted his scoring prowess. Ronaldo Green showcased his skill with two precision goals in the 29th and 51st minutes, while Marc Ville – 11th minute, Kevin Thomas – 35th minute, and O’Bryan Hinds – 53rd minute, each contributed to the tally with a goal.
The team’s brilliance extended beyond the scorers, with Morgan Wood orchestrating the midfield, Marc Ville delivering three crucial assists, and Hinds and Green providing pivotal contributions with assists of their own. Even an inadvertent own goal by BahaJrs in the 77th minute only served to strengthen the Mingoes’ advantage, further solidifying their dominance on the scoreboard.
